Sponsorship

We believe that Joyful Pictures has huge potential which we want to develop alongside the growing interest in positive psychology and the study of optimism, hope and well-being.  These subjects are now, clearly, no longer considered lightweight but are emerging with new importance, and attracting the attention of governments and businesses.

We are therefore actively seeking compatible sponsorship from organisations who share our values and aims.

·         We want to correct the balance between negative and positive images shown in the media – so that the good side of life is also represented.

·         We want Joyful Pictures to be inclusive of all ages, abilities and nationalities.

·         We want Joyful Pictures from all over the world.

·         We want to encourage charities to work with us to celebrate their everyday achievements and the work they do.

·         We want to encourage professional photographers to showcase their talents for illustrating the up-side of life.

·         We want to establish a sizeable collection which will be taken seriously as a commercial operation, where every fee generated benefits both the photographer and a number of carefully selected charities.

·         We want to use our global collection of positive images to create a beautiful and inspirational book.

If you are as excited as we are by Joyful Pictures, and believe that changing the way people look at the world could benefit your business or organisation, then we are keen to hear from you.

'I saw this my friend playing in the rain. He was a street child like me. I was so excited to take this picture, to capture the expression of freedom' The Street Vision project was set up in 1998 and has, to date, trained over 180 street and disadvantaged young people in photographic skills. Through photography, all the students have gained self-esteem, a sense of purpose and fun and a means through which they can combat society's negative image of them.
